Atari was back at it again with the Atari 5200. Here they attempted to release a higher end console in the early 80s. Due to the fierce competition at the time it remains a mere cliff note in video game history now. The system is infamous for having reliability issues, being far too big for its own good, and featuring a lackluster library. This is not a highly esteemed home console.
